Editorial policy & the team behind GenzeeTools

GenzeeTools exists to give people free, fast, private calculators they can actually trust. Because our tools produce numbers people use for real decisions — tax, zakat, loans, health — we think you deserve to know exactly who builds them, where the formulas and rates come from, and how we keep them correct.

Who we are

GenzeeTools is an independent project by Genzee Logics, a small team based in Pakistan building tools for users here and around the world. The project is founded and edited by Rafique Khattak, who oversees which tools we build, reviews the formulas behind them, and is responsible for the accuracy of what you read on this site. We are not a bank, a tax authority or a medical provider — we are engineers who believe everyday maths should be free and understandable.

How our tools are built and checked

Every calculator on GenzeeTools follows the same discipline:

  • The formula is stated on the page. We never ask you to trust a black box. Each tool's guide shows the exact formula it uses and walks through a worked example with real numbers, so you can verify the result by hand.
  • The maths is tested. Before a tool goes live, its calculations are checked against known-correct sample inputs — for example, a standard EMI figure, a documented tax slab result, or a textbook conversion — so the code matches the theory.
  • Rates and rules are dated and sourced. For anything that changes with government policy — income tax slabs, sales tax and VAT rates — we keep the numbers in a clearly labelled place in the code, note when they were last verified, and point to the official source (such as the FBR). When budgets change the rules, we update the tool.
  • We show our assumptions. Where scholars or standards differ — for instance the nisab basis for zakat, or BMI thresholds for South Asians — we say so on the page rather than hiding a single opinion behind a number.

What our tools are — and are not

Our results are estimates for general information. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or religious advice. Rules and rates change, and individual circumstances differ. For decisions that matter, verify important figures with the relevant authority or a qualified professional. This is set out in full in our disclaimer and terms of use.

Privacy is the architecture, not a promise

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. The numbers, text, images and details you enter are never sent to us, stored by us, or seen by us — there is no server doing the maths, because the site is plain static pages. You can disconnect from the internet after a tool page loads and it will keep working. See our privacy policy for how cookies, analytics and advertising are handled.

Corrections & how to reach us

We take accuracy reports seriously and fix confirmed errors quickly. If a number looks wrong, tell us the tool, your exact inputs and the result you expected, and we will investigate. Corrections to tax rates and formulas are especially welcome — with a link to the official source if you have one.
